This website is intended to put a spotlight on Destructive Masculinity.

In recent years, the term Toxic Masculinity has been used to denote the negative effects of masculinity on the world. “Toxicity” in this sense denotes a process where masculinity is potentially poisoning our cultures. We use Destructive in its stead to highlight that its is not a slow moving, possibly poisonous ethos, rather its here and has been for a very long time and it is by it very nature destroying those it effects.

For the purposes of this website and the content discussed, we use the terms male, boys, and men. This is not to invalidate or discount those of others genders who are affected by these issues. Rather, its used because the majority of the issues stem from cis, heteronormative males and thus needs to be addressed.
